Four days after launch, the Websites for Nurses site was the #1 organic result on Google for "website design for nurse coaches." We didn't use paid ads, and no other sites linked to us yet.
We're sharing exactly how we did it, because the same steps can help your nurse coaching practice get found by the clients who need you.
The Problem: a Beautiful Website No One Can Find
You spent years learning to care for people. Then you became a nurse coach and were told to "build a website." So you did, and it went quiet.
This is the most common story we hear. A website on its own doesn't bring clients. Google has to understand who it's for and show it to the right people. Most new sites wait months for that, and many never reach page one.
What We Did: Five Simple Steps
We chose one specific phrase. Not "websites" or "coaching," but the exact words a ready-to-hire person types: "website design for nurse coaches." Specific phrases have far less competition than broad ones.
We built the page around that phrase. It appears naturally in the page title, the main headline, the first paragraph and the description Google shows in search results.
We wrote for a real person first. Our headline names the problem our readers feel: "You're a great nurse coach. Nobody can find your website." Google rewards pages that answer what people are looking for.
We kept the design clean and fast. A simple layout that loads quickly and reads well on a phone, where most people search.
We told Google the site exists. We connected our own domain, added the site to Google Search Console (a free tool from Google) and asked Google to index the page. The shocking thing: when we do competition analysis, we find nurse coach websites built by “marketing professionals” that aren’t even indexed or don’t have sitemaps that google can find. Yikes.
The Result: Page One, Position One
September 30, 2026: the site goes live and Google visits it for the first time.
October 4, 2026: the site is the #1 organic result for "website design for nurse coaches," confirmed in a private browser window so personal search history couldn't affect it.
Our page now appears above established design agencies that specialize in nurse coaches.
What This Means For Your Practice
The lesson is simple: a specific phrase beats a broad one. "Nurse coach" alone is crowded. "Menopause nurse coach" or "holistic nurse coach in Phoenix" is a phrase you can own.
A few honest notes so you know what to expect:
Every phrase is different. Niche phrases can rank in days or weeks. Broader ones often take three to six months or more.
New rankings settle over time. Google tests new sites for the first few months, so positions can move before they steady.
Rankings vary by location. Someone searching in another city or country may see different results.
No one can guarantee #1. Anyone who promises it is overselling. What we promise is a clean site built carefully to be found. We also offer SEO optimization where we study the analytics.
